FairRate Today is not a lender or insurer, so we cannot see or change applications, rates, payments or claims. For questions about an application, loan account or insurance policy, contact the provider directly using the details in your offer or policy documents. If you have a complaint about a financial product, you can also submit it to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, or for insurance, to your state’s department of insurance.

If you are struggling with payments, a nonprofit credit counselor can review your budget for free or at low cost. The U.S. Department of Justice keeps a list of approved credit counseling agencies, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau offers free resources at consumerfinance.gov.
